Kingdom Kids
Nursery - 5th Grade
At Redemption, children are a cherished part of our church family. Our Kingdom Kids ministry provides a joyful, safe, and Christ-centered place for kids to learn, worship, and grow through Scripture, prayer, and hands-on activities. We’re grateful to partner with families as we help nurture young disciples in faith. Read below to learn more about our ministry.
Find a Life Group
Frisco
Monthly on a Wednesday, 6:30-8pm
Rotating homes in Frisco
Led by Gina Binyon. Potluck dinner, prayer and fellowship, kids are welcome!
Frisco/Little Elm
Every other Saturday, 10am-12pm
Rotating homes
Led by Joe and Misty Whitenton. Brunch, prayer for one another, and fellowship. The group is made of mostly 20-somethings but open to all! Very friendly toward small children.
McKinney
Third Monday of each month at 6pm
Alex and Lauren Wilgus’s home
Dinner and evening prayer, families and kids are welcome!
Plano
Second or third Monday of each month at 6pm
Alain and Teresa Schwarz’s home
Potluck dinner and fellowship, all are welcome!
Prosper
Last Sunday of each month, 12:30-2:30pm
Deacon Sandra and Clark’s home
Potluck lunch, prayer for one another, and short discussion of sermon, families and neighbors/friends are welcome!

Nursery (Ages 0-4)
Our nursery provides a loving and nurturing environment where our youngest disciples begin their journey of knowing and loving the Lord. Through music, stories, and crafts, we bring the Bible to life in age-appropriate ways. Our vibrant and caring staff ensures that every child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are lovingly met.
Chapel (Ages 5-11)
In our Chapel program, multi-age interaction fosters sharing, compassion, and spiritual growth. Our dedicated teachers have answered the call to mentor and guide children through the Bible, helping them understand God’s love and how to live it out in their daily lives—at home, in school, and in the community.
Special Opportunities
We offer several special programs to support children in their spiritual journey:
- Acolyting (beginning at age 9)
- First Communion Class
- Baptism Preparation Class
- Learning About the Anglican Church with Fr. Andy
These experiences deepen children’s understanding of their faith and allow them to take on meaningful roles in the church community.
