Pray For Our Ministries

Redemption's unique mission is to be intentionally present in our community, praying for opportunities to connect people to the Body of Christ. We do this through our Presence Ministries where our main goal is simply to be present, over a long period of time, in a given place so that we can form relationships with people, especially those far from the Lord, and pray for opportunities to bring them near to him. Here are our current places where we are consistently present, our leaders, and the joys and current needs of each one.

Parkview Memory Care - This month marks two whole years of weekly services for residents at Parkview. This is truly from God. We have recently welcomed many new members to our service from the neighboring Assisted Living facility, which means we are serving more residents than we ever have before. This is truly a growing ministry.
Needs: Our Parkview team is looking for a third leader who is comfortable leading the liturgy. It isn't as hard as it sounds, and our current leaders, Whitney Siddons and Matt Dawson will be able to teach new volunteers. Please pray that the Lord sends more workers into this harvest field. UNT Frisco - Over the past year our team has prayed for many students and befriended staff and administration. However, due to new rules, our team has been relegated far away from the main building making our support of students through prayer more difficult. Please pray for favor with the administration, so that we can be there for students in need of spiritual support.

Peter's Colony Elementary School - Our newest ministry is set to begin this year, and we are praising God for fruitful meetings with the wonderful administration. Peter's Colony is a larger elementary school that serves a wide variety of students with many needs. Soon, we will be able to assist in everything from tutoring to after school programs and more. We are so grateful to God for opening doors. Please pray for Peter's Colony, that the Lord will strengthen and bless their teachers, families, and administration. Pray also for our new team leaders Doug and Lorraine Kent as they coordinate our efforts to love the families of our community and those who teach and serve them at school.
