Pray For UNT Frisco
We are reaching out to students with the love of Christ.
Hey Redemption Family! In line with our commitment to mission in North Texas, Redemption is reaching out in faith and building new ministries of Presence in our area this year. One of these ministries we hope to see flourish in 2026 is an on-campus ministry at UNT Frisco. There are tons of students from all over the metroplex flocking to the new campus right off of Preston. We want to see God do what He did at Parkview; a stable, on-going service or Bible study that meets weekly on-campus. I will be heading this ministry up by committing a portion of my week to simply showing up to the campus and offering prayer to those who stop by. Fr. Alex and I have already had folks respond and pray with us in just the last few weeks! Here’s how you can support this work:
1. Pray that we encounter people of peace who want to see the Gospel flourish at UNT Frisco as we commit ourselves to being present on this campus. In order to establish something long-term, we need God to open a door to the right person.
2. Come and join us one morning for prayer with the students! You can email me or Fr. Alex about how to get involved with this.
3. Encourage any students, faculty, or staff you might know at UNT Frisco to reach out to us as well!
Our desire is to draw near to the many people at UNT Frisco who are far from the Lord just as the Lord did for each of us when we all were still sinners. Pray that the Lord blesses this work, sustains us in faithful presence, and uses it all for His glory.
